How do I turn subtitles on/off?

1. On the video player, click the gear button for Player Settings.
2. Click on the subtitles selection to display the available subtitles language. Select desired language. 
   
   
3. To turn subtitles on/off, select the Off option.
   
   

There are two ways to turn the subtitles on or off. You can do this by visiting the Roku device settings and within the Viki app.

On Roku device main menu:

1. Go to Settings. 
2. Select Accessibility to launch the captions menu. If Accessibility is not listed, select Captions.
3. Select Captions Mode.
4. Choose between <Off>, <On> and <On Replay>.

Within Viki app: 

1. At the video you are watching, press * (asterisk) on your Roku remote.
2. The video will pause and a pop-up menu will appear with the Closed Captioning option.
3. Choose between <Off>, <On> and <On Replay>.

Note: On Replay will only show subtitles when you press the replay button on your remote. Use this option if you feel comfortable with the video audio language. You can use the replay button and the last 10 seconds will replay with subtitles.

After you turn subtitles on or off, the setting will remain. You will not have to turn subtitles on or off again.

1. At the video you are watching, swipe down the touch feature of your Apple TV remote to bring down the subtitle menu at the top of the screen. 
2. English should be chosen as a default if the device is set in English. You can swipe left or right to choose your preferred subtitle language or turn off the subtitles.

1. On the video player, click  for subtitle options.
2. Select your preferred subtitle language from the list of available subtitles to turn on subtitles. Select OFF to turn off subtitles.

1. Go to Settings, then click Subtitles. Select your preferred subtitle language from the options on the list.
2. If the episode or movie you're watching has not been subtitled yet in your preferred language, you will get the default English subtitles instead.
