How can I cancel my Viki Pass subscription?

Based on the device you had initially been subscribed on, you can cancel your subscription with the steps listed below. If you need help identifying your Viki Pass plan, you may refer to this article first.  

Web (Viki.com) Subscriptions

To cancel your subscription:

  1. On a web browser, log in to Viki.com
  2. Click on your profile icon on the top right-hand corner of the homepage.
  3. Select Subscription and Settings and click on 'Cancel Plan'.
  4. Choose 'Confirm Cancellation' on the pop-up prompt.
  5. The page will refresh with a cancellation confirmation shown, and you may take the one-question survey to share your feedback.
You should receive a cancellation confirmation email and continue to see benefits until the end of your billing period.

 Changing plans after cancellation

Upgrading or downgrading during the cancellation period will revert your plan to an active status, and you will be billed for the new plan. Refer to this article to see how and when you will be charged for your new plan. 

Google Play Subscriptions

Google manages billing for Google Play subscriptions. Contact Google Play Support directly for any additional questions regarding Google Play billing (e.g., payment issues, unauthorized charges, etc.).

You can cancel your Google Play Viki Pass subscription on your Android mobile device or web browser by following any methods listed below. Unfortunately, the ability to cancel a Google Play subscription on the Android TV Viki app is not available.

  Important Notes

  • Uninstalling an app will not automatically stop your subscription. You must cancel your subscription to end your subscription.
  • If you don't see Viki Pass under your Google Play account's Subscriptions page, and you're still being charged, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Google ID. If you're still unable to find the subscription, you might've subscribed directly through the Viki website / Apple / Roku and not through Google Play.

Cancel Viki Pass via the Android Viki app

While logged in on your Android device with the Google account, you used to subscribe: 

  1. Log in to the Android Viki app.
  2. On the bottom menu, go to Me.
  3. Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
  4. Scroll down to Viki Pass > Manage SubscriptionsCancel Subscription.
  5. Choose Cancel subscription on the pop-up prompt.
  6. Take the optional one-question survey and select Submit.
  7. After your subscription has been successfully canceled, you'll see a confirmation message on the app and receive a confirmation email from Google.

Cancel Viki Pass through the Google Play website

  1. On your computer/mobile web browser, go to play.google.com.
  2. Make sure you're logged in to the correct Google Account.
  3. On the left, click on My subscriptions.
  4. Select the Viki Pass subscription you want to cancel.
  5. Click Manage and then Cancel Subscription.
  6. Within the confirmation pop-up, click Yes.
  7. After your subscription has been successfully canceled, you'll receive a confirmation email from Google.
Apple Subscriptions

Apple manages the billing for Apple subscriptions. For any additional questions regarding Apple billing (e.g., payment issues, refunds, unauthorized charges, etc.), contact Apple Support directly.

You can cancel your Apple Viki Pass subscription on your iOS mobile device, Apple TV, or computer by following any methods listed below.

Cancel Viki Pass via the iOS Viki app

  1. Log in to the iOS Viki app.
  2. On the bottom menu, go to ME.
  3. Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
  4. Scroll down to Viki Pass > Manage subscriptionsCancel subscription.
  5. Choose Yes on the pop-up prompt.
  6. Take the optional one-question survey and select Submit.
  7. After being redirected to your Apple Subscriptions page, scroll to the bottom and click on Cancel Subscription. Follow the confirmation prompts to cancel the subscription.
  8. After your subscription has been successfully canceled, you'll receive a confirmation email from Apple.

Cancel Viki Pass through your Apple TV 

If you have the Viki app installed on your Apple TV (4th generation or newer), you can cancel your subscription with these steps:

  1. First, open the Apple TV Settings.
  2. Select Users & Accounts, then select your account.
  3. Select Subscriptions and choose the Viki Pass subscription.
  4. Next, click on Cancel Subscription and follow the confirmation prompts to cancel the subscription.
  5. After your subscription has been successfully canceled, you'll receive a confirmation email from Apple.

Cancel Viki Pass through your computer 

Learn how to cancel your subscription on a Windows PC with the steps listed below. For Mac users, please refer to the steps indicated in this Apple Support article instead.

  1. On your Windows PC, download or open iTunes.
  2. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account, then select View My Account. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Scroll to the Settings section and select Manage next to Subscriptions.
  4. In the Viki Pass section, select Edit.
  5. Click Cancel Subscription.
  6. After your subscription has been successfully canceled, you'll receive a confirmation email from Apple.
Roku Subscriptions

Roku Pay manages the billing for Roku subscriptions. For any additional questions regarding Roku billing (e.g. payment issues, refunds, unauthorized charges, etc.), do contact Roku Support directly.

You can view and/or cancel your Roku Viki Pass Plus subscription from your Roku device or a computer/mobile web browser by following the methods listed below.

Note: It's not possible to change plans in the middle of an existing subscription on Roku. To change your plan, the existing subscription has to be canceled first. Once the subscription ends, you will be able to change to a different Viki Pass plan via our website or mobile app options.

Cancel Viki Pass via the Roku Viki Channel

  1. Press Home home on your Roku remote.
  2. Go to the Viki Options by following either of these steps:
    • From the channel lineup
      • Highlight the Viki channel.
      • Press Star star on your remote.
    • From the Channel Store
      • Scroll down and select Streaming Channels.
      • Search for the Viki channel.
      • Press OK OK on your remote.
  3. Once you access Options, select Manage Subscription to view the renewal date and access additional options.
  4. To unsubscribe, select Cancel Subscription. Confirm by choosing to remove the channel immediately or keep it for the remainder of the subscription term.
  5. After your subscription has been successfully canceled, you'll see a confirmation message and receive a confirmation email from Roku.

Cancel Viki Pass through the Roku website

  1. On a mobile/web browser, log in to my.roku.com.
  2. Select Manage your subscriptions.
  3. Locate your Viki subscription on the My Subscriptions page.
  4. Select Unsubscribe to cancel the subscription. 
  5. After your subscription has been successfully canceled, you'll receive a confirmation email from Roku.

Access after canceling a subscription

When you cancel your subscription you'll still have access to your benefits for the remainder of the time you have already paid for.

For example, if you purchased a one-year subscription on Jan 1 for USD 49.99 and decide to cancel your Subscription on July 1, you will have access to the Subscription until Dec 31. But you will not be charged the renewal subscription of USD 49.99 the following Jan 1, and your benefits will end.

Access after canceling a trial subscription

  • Subscriptions via Viki.com - Canceling during your trial will end your subscription with immediate effect.
  • Subscriptions via Apple, Google Play, and Roku - After canceling your trial, your benefits will continue for the remainder of the 7-day period.
