How Will I Be Charged After Changing Plans?

This article offers detailed information on how you will be billed after switching plans, based on the platform that you subscribed on.

  Starting August 9th, 2021 (PDT), we have discontinued new sign-ups for the Viki Pass Basic plan. It will not be possible for existing Viki Pass Basic subscribers to revert to this plan if any cancelations or plan changes are made. You may consider re-subscribing to our other plans instead.

When do I receive the benefits for my new plan?

How much am I charged for the new plan? 

 You will be charged the price of the new plan, minus the credits remaining*  You will be charged the total amount for the new plan*

When will my billing date be changed to?

 Date when the plan change was requested N/A

What currency am I charged in? 

 The currency that is displayed on the checkout page.

What happens when I'm on Trial? The trial will end, and you will be charged for the new plan immediately The trial will continue, and you will be charged once the trial ends.

Plan Changes

If you switch to a higher-priced plan during your trial, your trial will end, and you will be billed for your new plan immediately. The benefits of your new plan will also take effect immediately. 

If you switch to a lower-priced plan during your trial, your trial will continue, and you will only be billed for your new plan once the trial ends. The benefits of your new plan will also take effect at the end of the trial.

If you switch to a lower-priced plan during your trial, your trial period will be prorated and extended. You will only be billed for the new plan once the trial period ends, but your new plan benefits will take effect immediately.
