Playback Speed allows you to watch videos at a speed that works best for you. Whether you'd like to slow down a scene to catch every detail or speed through an episode, you can adjust the playback speed directly from the Viki player.
Playback Speed is currently available on Viki.com, including:
- Desktop web browsers
- Mobile web browsers
- Start playing a video on Viki.com.
- Open the player controls.
- Select the Playback Speed icon.
- Choose your preferred playback speed.
Your selected playback speed will remain active throughout your current viewing session, including when autoplay advances to the next episode.
When you begin watching a different title, the playback speed will reset to the default speed setting (1x).
Playback Speed is available across all videos on Viki.com.
At this time, Playback Speed is only available on Viki.com through supported desktop and mobile web browsers.
Playback Speed is not currently available on Viki mobile apps or TV devices.
If you're unable to change the playback speed or the feature is not working as expected, please try the following:
- Exit the video player.
- Re-open the video.
- Try changing the playback speed again.
