Please be advised that due to the new Reserve Bank of India eMandate notification, new Viki Pass subscriptions made through the Google Play Store (India) will temporarily cease to be automatically renewed if your billing card is not from a supported bank.
You may contact Google Play Support directly to check if your billing card is from a supported bank. If necessary, you may also add or edit your billing cards with the steps listed in this Google Help Article.
If your billing card is not from a supported bank,
- Viki is unable to offer you a 7-day free trial (for new subscribers).
- At the end of each billing cycle, you will have to re-subscribe again.
- You will not be able to change your subscription plan during the existing billing period. To move to a new plan, please cancel your existing subscription and wait until the end of the current billing period before subscribing.
We appreciate your understanding and do reach out to us if you require any assistance regarding this.
Why was I charged for a subscription but did not receive benefits?
If you received a payment-confirmation notification from your bank but do not see a Viki Pass subscription linked to your account, it's likely that the subscription attempt was not successful due to payment issues. Your canceled transaction(s) should be reversed or refunded back in a few days' time.
To see the status of your subscription order, refer to the steps listed on this Google Help article.
Before trying to subscribe again, you may also need to update your payment details on Google Play:
