As of December 4, 2024, the Watch Party feature has been officially discontinued on Viki.com. This means that you can no longer host or join Watch Parties on the platform.
2. Why was Watch Party discontinued?
We introduced Watch Party in 2020 to help our community stay connected during the pandemic, and while it was a much-loved feature, viewer habits have shifted. Due to decreased demand for Watch Parties, we’ve chosen to focus on developing new features and enhancements that better meet the evolving needs of our viewers.
3. Are there any plans to bring back Watch Party or introduce similar features?
At this time, we do not have plans to reintroduce Watch Party or develop a similar feature. However, we are always working on new ways to enhance the viewing experience and build community engagement. We welcome your feedback for future updates and feature suggestions!
