How do I create a Viki account? – Help Center

You will need a Viki account to watch videos, continue watching where you left off, write comments, send Private Messages, follow shows, subscribe to Viki Pass, and more.

To sign up for a Viki account, you will need to:

1. Accept Viki's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

2. Meet the minimum legal requirement of 18 years of age and above the age of majority in your home country.

Once you have created a Viki account, please make sure to verify your email.

Creating your Viki account

Via Web

On Viki.com, you can choose to sign up with your Email Address, Facebook, Google, Apple ID, or Rakuten ID via the Viki Sign Up page.

When you sign up with your social media account (Facebook/Google/Rakuten ID), your Viki account email will be the same as the email address you use for your social media account.

Via Android App

On Android, you can choose to sign up via Email address, Google, Facebook or Rakuten ID.

Tap on Me at the bottom right corner of the app
Tap Log In Now
Select your preferred method of signing up
If you wish to sign up via email address, tap Sign Up.

When you sign up with your social media account (Facebook/Google/Rakuten ID), your Viki account email will be the same as the email address you use for your social media account.

Via iOS App

On iOS, you can choose to sign up via email address, Apple ID, Facebook, Google, or Rakuten ID.

At the home screen, tap Log In
Tap Sign Up
Select your preferred method of signing up

When you sign up with your social media account (Facebook/Google/Rakuten ID), your Viki account email will be the same as the email address you use for your social media account.

Creating an account with Apple ID

1. Click Continue with Apple

2. Select either Share my email or Hide my email, and click Continue

If your Apple ID email corresponds with an existing Viki account, you will be logged into that account instead of creating a new one.

Apple will create a unique email address, so your email address isn't shared with Viki. You can find more details on this feature here.

Via Connected TV App

Roku

1. Open the Viki app
2. Select Create Account
3. Choose between Continue with Roku Account or Continue with your email
  1. Continue with Roku Account - your Viki account will be linked to your Roku account
  2. Continue with your email - your Viki account will be linked to the email address of your choice
4. Check or uncheck the option to receive updates, special offers and marketing promotions via email from Viki
5. Select Confirm
