[Solved] Subtitles are not coming through Chromecast

I’m trying to watch the movie, “Because I Love You”. It is fully subtitled and they show up on my mobile device and on my computer. However, when I cast the movie onto my TV with Chromecast the subtitles do not show up at all. Is there any way I can fix this? I don’t really want to have to watch the movie on my phone.

    The engineers have fixed the issue and subtitles should be showing up when you Chromecast now.

  • Hi Kristie, I am still experiencing a problem with Eng subs not displaying. I just wrote a post a few mins ago so the problem is still occurring on my end. It's not just that it isn't appearing when the show is cast onto my tv, but subs are not displaying on my computer which is the original source I am watching it on. Tried many troubleshooting techniques, but it's still not working.

    As you mention, the issue reported by the other two is different from yours.

    Also as I responded to your original post, please send in the video issue report so that we can troubleshoot on our end.

    I am currently not able to replicate this issue on my side and will require more information from your end to figure out the problem.
