Re-enable Learn Mode
Learn Mode has been disabled and it is sorely missed. It was one of Viki's most valuable features for those of us who enjoy language learning.
I understand it has been put on the back burner while Viki works on other projects. My request is just to re-enable it where it used to be offered and not to do any updates or add it to anything new at this time. Perhaps when Viki has more resources, they can spend them on updating Learn Mode. For now, can we just turn it back on as-is?

I agree, I just found out that they had this function only to know realize that they no longer offer it. I would have loved to use it to actually learn korean. What are the steps do we need to make to have them re-enable it.
I just wanted to sign up for Viki. Used it some time ago (free). And the most important feature is gone. Can't even see Chinese subtitles.

So disappointed. I was going to subscribe to plus and just saw about learn mode only to find out it is disabled. Please bring back learn mode and I bet many of us out there will subscribe.
I’m a Korean language student in the U.S.; I have loved the Learning Mode feature of Viki to help with learning the language. Being able to listen in Korean and follow along with both the English and Korean subtitles helps me look at the Korean words while they are being spoken and helps me to see vocabulary that I may have missed because the pronunciation went by so fast. Having the English at the same time kept my place as far as knowing the specific dialog associated with the matching Korean subtitles. Please bring this feature back; Learn Mode was one of the coolest features by far across all of my Korean language learning apps. I’d even be willing to pay a separate subscription price for Learn Mode alone …but included in the current subscription price, the way it already was, would be ideal and accessible for Korean language learning students. Thank you!

I also really miss this feature!!!!! I wanted to get back into studying again but was surprised when I could no longer use the subtitles this way!
Yes! I heard Viki had dual subtitles and was really excited to try it. I'm a Korean language student and this feature would be massively helpful. It was disappointing when I found out they got rid of it, especially since I decided to pay for Viki partly for this reason. Please Viki, bring this back!!
My suggestion, everyone, is to collectively contact Viki (under "Submit a Request") and ask for it back. I've already done it, and hopefully if enough people get on their case, they might take note and bring it back quickly
Learn more was very useful in learning Korean. I truly wish Viki would bring it back.

I just signed up again because I wanted to use the learn mode. That was my favorite feature for Viki. That's very disappointing and making me reconsider keeping the pass.
Leaving a comment here in hopes additional traffic will incline Viki to reenable Learn Mode for foreign users! I'm planning to tutor Korean soon and wanted to suggest Rakuten Viki as a entertainment and learning platform due to the Learn Mode, but am sorely disappointed that it doesn't exist anymore. For those interested in Learn Mode being reenabled and/or expanded/updated, please leave a comment and upvote the original forum post! Hopefully we'll be able to get some traction and our beloved feature will be returned.
Personally, I stopped using Viki Rakuten after they removed the Learn Mode feature. Now, a year later I see, that they aren‘t planning on reviving it, sadly…
I guess, I will just keep waiting for it or other websites to introduce the Learning Mode.

Yep my dad will have to cancel the subscription. I don't use it since they removed learning mode
