Is episodes are locked, will I be able to watch them eventually without Viki pass? If so,how long does it take to become available to watch?

Thanks for writing in to us!
Shows that are Viki Pass Exclusives are first made available to our Viki Pass subscribers and then the rest of the world. The duration which the shows are locked as exclusives differs based on the agreement with the license providers.
You can see when the episode will be available by clicking on the '?' icon at the top right corner of the video thumbnail. Episodes that will be available for non-subscribers soon will have the number of days indicated while those that require a longer time will not have a time indication yet.
If you prefer not to wait the duration indicated, please consider upgrading to Viki Pass.
Alternatively if you do not wish to subscribe, I would suggest looking out for the 'First Look' feature whereby on-air episodes will be available, free of access, for the first 24 hours after the episode broadcast in its country of origin.
