Get the side-bar Timed Comments board back
Hello,
Recently, Viki removed the side-bar Time Comments board.
I think it is a very bad idea, the only reason I use Viki is for the time comments and I am not the only one. Now, we can get only few comments on the left corner and it is not convenient.
I request it back, I don't see the reason why Viki decided to remove it.

I agree 100% with this post. At first I thought it was user error. I enjoy watching the show a 2nd time with the comments on. A
its annoying that they have the timeline comment option with all the comments for my iphone but not for a computer. i watch viki 90% of the time on my laptop and now its no longer an option. i love seeing ppl agree with me and the hilarious things ppl say sometimes about the show. definitely miss it. esp since 50% of the comments that pop up now are in languages i cannot read!!
By removing the option to view ALL of the timed comments utilizing the sidebar, you are reducing the amount of enjoyment some of us get by viewing on your platform. We could use a plethora of other platforms if we were solely interested in watching content with out viewer commentary. One of the biggest draws of our community is the ability to interact WHILE WATCHING, to discover and rediscover opinion and content of our favorites actors and shows with like minds, to be seen and heard by others through our personal commentary and to feel comfortable enough to express ourselves. I strongly suggest you bring back this feature
timed comments "waterfall mode" was great. i read the comments to help understand difficult parts of a drama. i really really hope viki can bring back the waterfall mode timed comments feed. it was one of the best things about the community.

True! Viki doesn't work as well on my phone so I always use my computer and the only reason I use Viki is because of the Timed Comments. Now they don't have the waterfall mode and I'm mad.
I really wish they bring it back ASAP.

Omg, I hadn't been able to watch Viki in "desktop mode" for so long (after my LGTV 65UF9500 browser lost compatibility support & then worse, my backup laptop died) & I just tried it today (via mobile "desktop", oyy lol) specifically to read some comments & I was wondering where the ~shrink button went! That's so disappointing that they would remove such an interactive part of the website! ;(
Totally agree. It’s been ages now and I’m still disappointed every time.
For me, the waterfall timed comments werer very useful to understand a story. There are comments from chinese people explaining symbols, culture, habits, etc. that made me understand what was happening.
Please bring the waterfall timed comments !

The only reason I subscribe to VIKI is the timed comments. If it's removed permanently I will unsubscribe. period.
Agreed! I loved having the timed comments, especially during isolation.

Totally agree with the above. I am wondering why more people haven't written feedback supporting the reappointment of the waterfall feature? It's an additional option that users 'can' use if they choose to. Therefore, it is not a nuisance to people who don't like it.
Also, it was a competitive advantage of using/pay for Viki to watch dramas.
The "Watch Party" is not doing so well because half the time, hosting party is not there to start the video.
Bring back waterfall please, otherwise people may start subscribing to other streaming sites as the quality of the dramas that are now available on Viki are not as good as before since Netflix, Tencent and many others are taking up exclusivity on many good dramas.
Please reconsider.
