[On-Hold] Subtitles stopped working on iPad 05/22/2019

Subtitles have stopped working on Apple iPads after recent software update to their iOS 12.3.  I have tried deleting the Viki APP, even powered down, restarted, reinstalled APP... nothing is working.

  • Figured it out after scratching my head for a few days...  when you updated to the current iOS 12.3 on your iPad... it reset your "accessibility" settings in Settings.  Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Subtitles & Captioning and turn back on your "closed captions + SDH" option.  Hope that helps and you are able to view your subtitles again.  Oh...  one more thing, I had to sign out, restart my iPad, then sign back in to the Viki APP.
