i have done everything i can think of, but it keeps happeneing. it just started this mornin.

 

please help!!!

    If you are still facing this issue and haven't done any troubleshooting steps, please take the time to do the following first:

    1. Clear your browser's cache and cookies
    2. Adjust your playback settings 

    If the above troubleshooting steps do not help - we’re sorry that because these affected titles are from external servers, we are not able to fix this issue directly. However, please rest assured that our multimedia team is working hard to make all possible improvements on this.

    We're sorry for this inconvenience, and we advise that you watch from another device if this issue occurs frequently for you. We will provide an update as soon as the team is able to find any other solution on our end for this issue.

  • I have just cancelled my subscription. Viki has no interest whatsoever in fixing anything. Login issueszs, playback issues, high price (even more if you want to watch plus). My watch list of Korean series on Netflix is bigger, so why pay so much for a service that spits on your face when there is a bug?

    Wont miss it. Hope you go bankrupt. It will NOT have been because of others, viki dug its own grave.

  • viki.... obviously, this issue is global and wide-spread.   As a sign of good customer service, have you thought about crediting everyone account by 1 month?  Tired of hearing that you are working on it when its been going on for many month according to this feed.

  • this crap is annoying as hell, where is the fix for this?

    trying to watch something and it keeps doing this and makes me refresh over and over again, more than 5-6 times a show.

  • I have tried both Microsoft 10 Edge and Mozilla Firefox, have down as you directed, cleared the cache, logged out, logged in after restarting the router and this continues to happen.  I have a Plus subscription.  Please help.

  • I'm getting this issue also- not sure what day it started but it's getting very frustrating. Sometimes video will only play for 30 seconds. Playback is sometimes aborted even when the video is paused.

    I'm now getting a new error- when I try to refresh the page I sometimes get a "secure connection cannot be established" with both Firefox and Microsoft Edge.

    Trying to watch The Great Doctor. I've even gone so far as to reinstall my network drivers.....nothing I've tried works. (restarting browser, laptop, router, signing out, updated graphics driver, disabled anitvirus browser protection, disabled addons etc)

  • This issue is now a chronic problem, and we just aren't getting what we have paid for. I have attempted your suggested "fix", but it has not helped at all. Whatever it takes to resolve this issue, I hope you can get it done soon. I'm not sure you are completely aware of the bad feelings we (your customers) are getting about this, and how it affects our interest in continuing to do business with Viki.

  • I have tried all recommended solutions to no avail.... We should get a Reimbursement for the month of November VIKI!  I cant watch ANYTHING for more than a few minutes.... So frustrating!  I'm sure you're working on resolving this problem.

  • I've been having this issue for a while now it was first happening with the older dramas and now it does it with the newer ones. I've used microsoft edge and googel chrome. My desk top is only 6 months old. Really starting to rub me the wrong way!~ Do you have any idea what is going on?

  • This is happening to me every time I try to watch "She Was Pretty". It plays for a little bit then stops and that message pops up. It has never happened to me before with other dramas. Did anyone find a solution to this problem yet?

  • I have done everything and it still happens to me randomly, some shows are worse than others. The one I'm on now I can barley get 5 minutes in before it does it again, I have to reload the page, and hope it lasts more than 5 minutes. I've changed browsers, clear cache, history, everything.

  • I am having the same issue.  I have tried 4 different browsers and done all of the other things suggested.  At first it only happened when I watched Home Alone, but now it  happens with every show I try to watch.  How can this be corrected?

    • Does the issue still occur after clearing your browser cache and restarting?
    • The browser version and operating system you're using. You can find this here
    • What are some of the titles and episodes with this issue? 

    We recommend watching your favourite show on other devices (mobile / tablet / tv) in the meantime.

  • Hi I am having the same problem suddenly.  Everything fine up till yesterday.  Am watching Longest day in Chang'an, on MacBook Pro laptop, but problem persist for other shows as well.  OS is Mojave.  Please help to fix!

  • This is happening to me too! I have logged out then back in, disconnect to internet then re connect, restarted my computer. I have the plus version and have watched on chrome as that is the recommended internet for my computer. I have had this problem for a few days now and its starting to get more frequent and frustrating. I have watch 2 days one night, knowing bros and my id is gangam beauty, running man so far it has happened on every thing i have watched. Help please!

    I have nvidia intel corei7 8th gen, hp spectre so i know i have good graphics. 

    I have watched up to episode 5 of my id is gangam beauty 

    watched episode 265 of running man

    2 days 1 night episodes 398, 514, 469, 414, 415, 413, 421, 347, 532. 370, and 399.

    that is all of my watch history so far

    I have cleared cache and will update if it happens again

  • Same here. This is getting ridiculous. I'm sure many others are also subscribing members and this is unacceptable. Not only does this error occur on the website, but the mobile app is STILL very buggy. The screen lock is a joke and is hyper sensitive. Smallest movement will rotate it. 

    I think subscribing members should be given a credit or something. I pay for Hulu+, Netflix, and YouTube Red and I never have as many problems as I do with Viki.

    This is getting out of hand, one week we can't login, the other we can't watch, how bad is the IT on viki?
