In the show, try going to Accessibility / Languages and see if you have a second choice for English. Choosing the other English fixed it for me last night!

I found the answer! In “Accessibility” there are now actually two choices for English. Select the second “English” and the subtitles appear! I have no idea if the problem was a Roku or a Viki thing...

My subtitles stopped working a couple of days ago for me too. Have followed all the advice to delete and reinstall the app, checked the subtitle settings on roku and Viki app, made sure everything ...
