[Closed] Pls Clarify: Watchlist vs Follow vs Collection

I've been an annual Viki member for a few years now, and this is something that continues to confuse me:

What is the difference between adding a show in you "Watchlist" vs "Follow"-ing it vs placing it in a "Collection"?

I watch mainly through my AppleTV 4K, but sometimes like to use the Viki app on my iPad or on my MacBook Pro through Safari. The "Watchlist" and "Follow" options are available on AppleTV but "Collections" are not. They all seem to serve the same purpose--to allow the user to save a list of shows to watch. I just wish Viki would choose one term, stick with it, and standardize it through all platforms.

    Hi, jopsam,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Our 'Watchlist' feature now allows you to save a TV show or a movie to view it at a later time.

When you 'Follow' an On-air or Coming soon shows, it allows you to get updates on the Viki mobile app, notifying you when new episodes and subtitles are available.

You can use 'Collections' to organize shows by genre, cast, or any other theme. It is also where you can discover new shows to watch.

We hope this information helps. If you have any questions or concerns about the matter above, please don't hesitate to contact us.

    Best,

    Nina
