[Closed] Video is freezing after playing ads

We are unable to watch videos on my Sony TV app where videos freeze after playing ad.. if we resume the video the ad plays again. We are unable to use this app.

    We're sorry that you're experiencing Ad issues with Viki on your Sony TV Device.

    To make sure this is not an app problem can you please try the following?

    1. Log out from your account
    2. Uninstall and reinstall the Viki app from your device.
    3. Turn your device off and on again.
    4. Log back in to your Viki account by following the steps here.

    Are you still having the same issues with the Viki app? If so, can you please provide the following information?

    1. Can you name or describe the ad that caused issues while watching videos on Viki?
    2. After the ad causes the TV to freeze or force close, what happens next? Does the device crash? Does the app close? Are you able to open the app again without restarting your device?

    3. A screenshot of the ad or ads that are causing this issue. Please let us know if it's multiple ads and what episode you were watching when it happened.

  • Cannot watch programming on the firestick, ads keep freezing actually one in particular and it makes it impossible to watch anything. I have already performed all the suggested fixes and it does not work, the ad in particular and it is the only one at least for me that freezes is the Lexus car ad. it just freezes always at the half way mark.

    what can be done about this??
