[Solved] Followed Shows Scrambled on My Roku

I'd like to report two related issues but didn't find where to do so...so I came here (??) I used Google to get here since I was unable to find it in the actual discussions pages. Please pin a post at the top with a link in the forum where to go to report tech problems.

(1) Anyway, when I try to open shows on my Roku, they are coming up as other series saved in my followed shows. For example, I tried to open My Love Enlighten Me but it opens to Sweet Munchies. This happened for several followed show links.

(2) If I scroll down through the list, it freezes if I try to scroll back up, and I have to exit to get back in to select a show.

Thank you kindly for reviewing my tech issue.  I hope you can resolve it quickly.

    We're sorry that you're experiencing issues with Viki on your Roku TV Device.

    To make sure this is not a channel problem can you please try the following?

    1. Log out from your account
    2. Uninstall and reinstall the Viki channel from your device.
    3. Turn your device off and on again.
    4. Log back in to your Viki account by following the steps here.

    Are you still having the same issues with the Viki channel? If so, can you please provide the following information?

    1. Which device and model number are you using? (Go to the Roku homepage > Settings > System > About)
    2. The version and build of your Viki Channel (Go to the Roku homepage > Scroll over to the Viki Channel > Press * to see the Version and Build)

    I reinstalled the Viki app, and that solved the problem of the scrambled shows however, when I scroll down to look at my followed shows, I'm unable to scroll back upward.  This has been happening on both of my Rokus.

    My devices in both rooms are Roku Ultra.  Version: 2.8  Build: 0

    Thanks! Our teams are looking into a fix for this to be released in the next version.

    We will leave this post on-hold and let you know again when the update is available.

    Meanwhile, we suggest watching on web Viki.com or on your other devices if this issue occurs too frequently.

  • Your helpful, quick response is much appreciated.  If I use the Search feature, or go out to the main page and go back in to my followed screen, I can access shows. 

    I feel bad to bother you guise, but I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing these issues, so...

  • Just wanted to alert you that my followed shows were again scrambled yesterday.  When I go to open a series, a completely different show opens.  Many open to Sweet Munchies!

    We have released an updated version of the app that should resolve the problem with 'Followed Shows' on Roku. Please update your application and make sure it's the version 2.8.1.
