  The issue that is very unclear to me is : I understand the time to translate new shows, but  shows more then 6 years  old,  that have been broadcasted with english subtitles on other networkS are treated as new. I know copyrights restrictions, but there are numerous ways to "handle" them. Otherwise, it wouldn't be possible for some Asians shows or even songs to have similar context to other ones in the US or Europe. In addition,  I'm noticing an increase in shows and a decrease in accuracy in translation. Some errors are marginal but entire sentences are hard to make out even for a multi-language person. Are you using ONLY volunteer to translate? I know that in Asia the gap of money made by  actors, writers, and so on compared to the producers is humongous, but is such a pity to have to ruin the pleasure of such beautiful and hard work because of messed up system. If you have a subsidiary in China, Kore, Taiwan, push for a change.

  Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. At the moment, we rely on both Volunteers and a paid team to help with the increasing demand for subtitles. 

  We hear you and we want to do better. We'll escalate our feedback to our management and will work hard to improve our subtitling here at Viki.
