[Closed] free trial scam
So you get people to sign up for a "free trial" to watch shows locked by subscription only. "Sign up for viki pass", then try & force a "viki plus" subscription that is billed immediately- no free trial. These shows were free to watch when i 1st found this website. What a scam. Oh & you automatically allow the sale of my information without asking? Wow. I was happy to find this site & would have paid a subscription, but I don't support nasty business.

Please can you let me know hoe do you know you information was sold without asking? This is a bug bear of mine.

We've checked your account and a Viki Pass Standard trial subscription was applied. Additionally, as your trial subscription was cancelled before the 7 days was up, you were not charged for any renewals.
Should you had wanted to upgrade to a higher plan during the trial period, your trial will end and you will be billed for your new plan immediately.
Users have access to view which titles are under which subscription tier before they decide on the plan type to subscribe to.
As for the sale of information, could you clarify and provide more details about it?

I just signed up for the Viki Pass Plus free trial. Instead I was billed immediately for the Viki Pass Standard. I would like to see how the Viki Pass Plus works before I commit to it. Please let me know how this is handled.
