[Solved] Blocked Content

I am watching a show and I pay for full access. I started Doom at Your Service and I had started a new episode and then had to stop watching and now I try and continue watching the episode I started and it is saying “blocked video not available.” I am sad.

  • I have the same problem - i'm in Canada.  It was all fine two days ago. It wont let me watch anything.  The question is, how do we get it resolved.

  • Having the same problem!  In the US, everything was fine yesterday and today lots are saying Blocked - especially all of my Ji Chang Wook shows :(

  • I am having the exact same issue. Started early this morning. Is there a fixed to this? Doesn't seem the phone app is effected only TV and Roku, which is basically how I watch Viki anyway as I hate watching videos on my phone. I have a paid subscription too. Is there a way to contact Viki on this directly?

  • I'm having a problem with viki on my TV there's movies that I will like to see and when try to see it it tells me that is blocked. melting me softly and Lucky  with you. can you please help me fix this.

  • I have the standard pass and when I click on a show it’s not showing up the episodes. When I click continue watching it says it’s blocked. I logged out and logged back in and it still doesn’t work. On my phone it work but not on my TV.

  • Chiming in to add my complaint. 

    I can't watch anything on the Roku app for Viki. All episodes are unavailable, no matter what it it. I can get to my watchlist, but can't watch anything on it! The episode lists are empty. If I try to get to the last show I watched, the app tells me it's not available. It figure this happens after I renew for the year. So not happy with this. Again.

    Edited to add: it was working fine last night (July 28, 2022). There are no shows accessible today.

  • I'm not understanding this you people are not helping me is still blocked even though some of the new ones I mean even the ones I just saw yesterday that I want I liked it because I want to watch it again for the some of the new ones that I have is downloading and I don't want to watch it halfway and wait until the rest of it is downloaded it's I don't understand why you people don't help we pay for it we are customers VIP customers and you're not helping to correct this problem

  • I am also having same issue.

    I have done all the usual troubleshooting uninstalled and reinstalled restarted my roku
    Looks like it must be on their end 🙁

  • I am having the same issue. Laptop, ipad and iphone apps all work fine. account is up to date and paid. But all shows on my roku TV's say they are blocked. Grrrrr   PLEASE FIX ASAP

  • I am also having the same issue as all of you! My Roku TV that has been playing various shows just a day ago is no longer even loading video/episode content. But my Apple devices can play the content.

  • Certain shows are now “Blocked” and an error message reads “oops some thing went wrong”.  Please correct ASAP .  Thx

  • I thought it was something with my wifi and I tried everything only some shows worked but they’d stop, I sent a support email, and they just sent me a lot articles that didn’t help, I had to AirPlay to my tv but it’s really hard and sometimes it won’t load. Please help me fix this🙏🙏🙏

  • Update everyone: So no resolution with the Viki team, but I ended up bringing the show up on my phone and then there is an option to Air Drop it to my Roku stick (it is the TV icon on the phone screen). It worked after that. So in case everyone wants a temporary solution.

  • Just checked Viki on the Roku, and yes, the episodes are back!
