[Solved] Viki on Roku not working

When I click on a show to watch on Viki it just immediately goes back to the Roku home screen. Other apps I have watched on Roku are working. It just seems to be Viki that's not.

    Hi everybody,

    Sorry for the issues you were experiencing with the Roku app!

    We've just released a fix for the issue.

    To fix it, please take the following steps:

    1. Go to your Roku Settings > System System Update
    2. Click Check Now
    3. This will update your Viki Roku app to the latest version we just released that contains the fix to the issue

    If you continue to experience any problems or have any other questions or concerns, please let me know!

  • I have the same issue today, logged out/in no good only works on PC it seems for now.

  • Do you really think the new one will work better?  Or is it just the carrot before the horse tactics?  At this point after they have messed up their app three significant times in the last 8 months at least for their PAYING roku customers they have to do significant improvements i.e. not having their app crash every two to three months - to convince me that they have our best interests at heart.

  • Well it's working sort of halfway. I can watch some episodes but it doesn't recognize that I have an upgraded pass and my shows I'm following are gone. I did the system update. Hope it gets fixed soon.

    I've just emailed you regarding why you're not seeing your Viki Pass benefits and you're not seeing the shows you're following.
