Add Option to remove PIN
Add option to remove PIN, we pay our monthly subscription and you have to treat us like kids.... It is beyond annoying having to put a pin every episode if I want to binge watch a show!!!!

Agreed. Other apps have ability to set levels per profile. Is this something Viki can do?
Indeed, it's really annoying. Surely an option should be added to diable the pin. I am well over 18, I don't need any parental controls.
Great idea. I can't even enter the code on android tv and there are no minors in my house
I have the same technical issue and submitted a video and system specifications to Viki today. I hope they can at least allow access to content soon and hopefully re-evaluate the pin thing soon.
This should never have been rolled out without it being opt in; not sure what Viki thought they were achieving with this one, since you can watch without a PIN on iOS. Please make the parental control you have forced on us opt in only!!!!
Totally agree with every comment here. The subscriber is paying and should have the ability to opt in and/or remove controls. at this point. the feature doesnt work, impedes the viewing experience. When are you going to fix it????
The pin is unnecessary and hinders my elderly mother from being able to access her shows because she can't figure out the pin everytime it asks. If I'm not around to help her then she can't watch Viki. I'm almost considering other streaming Asian platforms because of this (on top of some other annoying Viki issues).

I am over 50 years old I don't NEED OR WANT IT!!!
Now my quadriplegic mom can't watch certain things on viki with the stupid pin code! She does everything through voice and she CANNOT speak the pin code in. She CAN'T use a remote! Viki made it an accessibility issue!! Parental controls should be in the settings to turn off and on NOT through a pincode you have to enter EVERY time.
Get rid of the pin!! !!
Agree with everything. A 77 year old does not need parental controls. If someone knows of another option for viewing shows, please post it. I watch Viki every day and this pin code is too difficult for me.
Depends on what you are watching.
I watch for the BL and a little of the KDrama, so I can go to YouTube, GagaOOLala (which I also have a subscription to), and I know there are others that I don't subscribe to like iQIYI and WeTV.
Basically, there are a lot of options, and none of them (that I know of) force a PIN down your throat whether you want one or not!!!
That's why yesterday, I cancelled my ""Viki Pass Plus Annual" subscription that I've had since 2020.
Maybe if they wise up and get rid of the pin requirement I'll come back, but that doesn't seem likely at this point since they haven't even responded except to give their generic not available yet.
Forcing everyone to set a PIN and input it every time is downright offensive and antagonistic to your customers. Nobody else does this. Nobody. You need to remove this NOW!
This is the dumbest "feature" that you can't turn off if you're an adult. Tell your engineers to add "parental controls" via regions so we're not all required to enter a PIN to see content we're appropriately aged to watch.
Please make this optional. It makes Viki unusable for my 89 year old mother. It’s ridiculous
I think everyone should cancel Viki its stupid pin code fforcing us to do it. viki its like communist I just paid a month subscription. Because this pin crap it’s annoying I rather watch the show in youtube. I agree with all the other people complaining here. Forcing a PIN down our throats is annoying and insulting. I already subscribed to IQIYI and I will find other apps to watch Asian shows if you're going to continue doing this. We are not children and you shouldn't treat us this way. And those who do have children can set parental controls if they want to. Having no choice is offensive.

Asking for a PIN is utterly ridiculous. When you sign up it should ask if you will need a PIN due to some of the content. Give an option to add a PIN don't force it on me...
Please remove the PIN. We have 2 60+ year old adults in our house and we don't need any age restrictions. Its a hassle having to enter a PIN for EVERY episode of a drama.
