[Solved] Cannot Access my Profile

Every time I clicked on my profile, the page would say "Oh no! Something went wrong." Refreshing the page doesn't work. And I don't see any announcements about this problem.

    To make sure this is not a browser issue can you please try the following?

    • Log out from your account
    • Clear your browser cache and cookies How do I clear the cache and cookies on my web browser?
    • Close your current window, then launch a new window
    • Log in to your Viki account
    • Try again from another browser

    Are you still experiencing these issues? If so, could you please share with me the following information?

    • Browser version and operating system. Click here to see all related information — you will get a link with all the information we need. Please share this link with us.
    • A screenshot or screencast of the error message or issue

  • So I cleared my cache and cookies, and logged into Viki.com. I had shut down my laptop completely and rebooted before clearing out cache and cookies. Still having the same problem (error msg below) when I click on Profile:
     
     
    All other links in the account drop down menu work fine. Plus, I can see other people's profile just fine, except my own. So I don't think it's caused by my browser. When I am in Help Center, this latest thread "Cannot Access my Profile" doesn't show up in my list of activities, as if the user-interface has somehow lost its connection to a certain file associated with me. 
     
    Please help. I'm using Safari Version 11.1.2 (11605.3.8.1) and on MAC OS X El Capitan Version 11.1.2 (11605.3.8.1). I tried Firefox but still can't access my profile.

  • Hi there, thank you to whomever fixed this. I can now view my profile. But during the time when I experienced this problem, it seemed to have also affected everything else associated with my account because this post "Cannot Access my Profile" doesn't show up in my activities.
