How do I pay for someone else’s account?

I want to pay for someone else’s account indefinitely as a gift, through Apple TV. Do they have to sign on under my Apple ID or can they use their own Apple ID while I pick up the subscription bill?

    As Viki Ideas is meant for feature suggestions, we’ll be moving this to the Bugs & Issues page instead.

    At the moment we do not do gift subscriptions. However, I can recommend the following options that you can choose to gift your friend with a Viki Pass subscription:

    1. We accept prepaid cards and gift cards from the following credit card companies: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. You can gift your friend a gift card from any of the mentioned companies and they can subscribe to Viki Pass by visiting this link: viki.com/pass

    2. iTunes Gift Card 
      If your friend uses an iOS device, you can gift her an iTunes Gift card to subscribe to Viki Pass with. Find out where to buy iTunes gift cards (only available for subscriptions via Apple iTunes): https://www.apple.com/itunes/gifts/

    3. Google Play Gift Card
      If your friend uses an Android device, you can gift her a Google Play Gift card to subscribe to Viki Pass with. Find out where to buy Google Play gift cards (only available for subscriptions via Google Play): https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/3422734?hl=en

    Both iTunes and Google Play services also accept multiple forms of payment, including Gift Cards, PayPal, and carrier billing (where it applies).
