[Solved] Watch Feature / Episode Time Counts / Delete Favorites Not Working

Kristie asked me to open this discussion follow-up topic in this location:

The "watch" feature isn't working.  Episodes I've watched aren't showing up as being completed and incomplete episodes aren't registering the time left to finish the show.

Also, I'm unable to delete shows I've been following.

    Latest update:

    The Watch History data that was previously lost should now be restored too.

    Update:

    The issue has been fixed and all new shows you watch should now turn up as "watched". Or if you are in the middle of watching a show, Watch History will record the point at where you last left off.

    Also, the engineers are looking into ways to retrieve the the Watch History data that got lost, whilst the feature was not working. We will update once we figure out whether or not the data is retrievable.

  • What about giving a more specific title, so that people who are interested may click on it and people who are not interested don't waste their time?

    You can edit your post, including the title, by clicking on the small wheel just under the downwards pointing arrow at the right of your message. (I know, it's not obvious, but it's there!)

  • I've also been having an issue on Roku for the past month on and off that it doesn't take me back to the last time location. It sometimes shows it on the thumb nail that it is partially watched, but then starts at the beginning of the episode. So I FF to where I was. Other times it works fine.

    When the "following" lists were disappearing I couldn't delete anything from my list but now it is working.

  • I am having this same problem.  Viki is not keeping track of where I was watching a drama on roku and the "watched" feature isn't working either.  I posted about this same problem a couple of days ago elsewhere to no avail.

  • This is still not working either. Still going to the beginning of each one. Watched episodes show as unwatched. I also can't unfollow things on Roku. It says You can not follow at this time, though I am trying to unfollow. I know they are working on the Roku crashing so I really hope they sort these things as well.

  • Yes--the problems haven't been resolved yet.  I'm tracking my shows with a paper log so I know which epis I have and haven't watched for each one.

    Sorry for the issue with your Watch History. The engineers have discovered the cause and are working on getting it back up soon.

  • This problem just popped up again.  I don't know about favorites but it is not showing episodes of dramas I watch on roku as "watched" and is not keeping track of where I left off in an episode.  It was briefly fixed.
