English subtitles

Cannot see English subtitles when downloaded at 100%

    We're sorry to know that you're unable to see the English subtitles of the show that you're watching. 

    Kindly check if your subtitle is turned on. If you're using Roku, you may follow the information below:

    There are two ways to turn the subtitles on or off. You can do this by visiting the Roku device settings and within the app.

    On the Roku device Main Menu:

    Go to Settings. 
    To open the captions menu, select Accessibility. If Accessibility is not listed, select Captions. 
    Select Captions Mode.
    Choose between <Off>, <On> and <On Replay>.

    Within the Viki app: 

    Go to the video. 
    Once it starts, press * (asterisk). 
    The video will pause and a pop-up menu will appear.
    Choose between <Off>, <On> and <On Replay>.
    Set the language preferred from the Closed Captioning option.

    Note: On Replay will only show subtitles when you press the replay button on your remote. Use this option if you feel comfortable with the video audio language. You can use the replay button and the last 10 seconds will replay with subtitles.

    After you turn subtitles on or off, the setting will remain. You will not have to turn them on or off again.
