We're sorry to hear that you experienced these issues with Viki while using AirPlay.
Viki only supports AirPlay viewing between iOS devices and Apple TV. If you are experiencing issues with Viki on AirPlay from an iOS device to a non-Apple TV device, please know that we are currently unable to provide support for this.
We are aware that you may still be able to use AirPlay from your iOS device to a non-Apple TV device on other services/apps. However, other apps may be using other streaming protocols which we don't support.
What we can suggest rather use are the following:
Add-on Connected TV devices Android TV/ TV BOX (Android OS 6.0 and above) Google TV (Android OS 6.0 and above) Apple TV HD (4th generation) and newer (iOS 13 and above) Amazon Fire TV (Fire OS 6.0 and above) Roku (Roku OS 9 and above) or Cast via Chromecast HDMI from desktop computer to LG TV to extend the display.
If you currently do not have any of the devices that we support, we’re glad to let you know that we do have more TV apps planned for the year. Once released, you'll be able to install it and watch Viki on your TV.
If you are experiencing issues with Viki while using AirPlay from an iOS device to an Apple TV, we suggest you take these troubleshooting steps before trying AirPlay again.
Also having the same problem, was working fine, until last week. Contacted support and they said they don't support airplay, unless it's with an apple TV, but it was working perfectly from my ipad mini to LG TV up until recently with no issues. Frustrating tried all the troubleshooting advice also.
