[Closed] Watching history not saving

I have watched ALOT of dramas now i go in in viki and all the dramas i have watched are gone just gone. Please fix it now. I have watched so many dramas some even with viki pass i don’t wanna lose them the last drama i watched i had already finished but some in my list weren’t pls bring my watch list back i joined feb 19 2021 alla my dramas from there i want them back! Why is this even happening? All my dramas like this is not something little this problem is juge and alot of other people i think are facing the same problem! Please fix it

    Hi everyone,

    Our engineers have made more updates to assist with this 'Continue Watching' issue.

    If you are still facing the same problems, please try these first:

    • Log out, reinstall the Viki app, and log back into your account.
    • Check that your profile/settings page indicates the same account username across all your devices.
    • If you are watching on our website Viki.com, please check that you have Adblock disabled or whitelisted for Viki. Restart your browser before trying again.
    • If you are using the Viki Android app, check that you are updated to version 6.16.2.

    Do kindly note that Continue Watching/Watch Markers usually take within 15-30 mins before it is updated. Dramas/movies must have also been played for at least one minute.  

    If you are having other technical issues, please send details (screenshots included) to our Help Center at bit.ly/VikiHelp and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Alternatively, follow this post for further updates as this duplicate topic would be closed.

  • I really want my watch list back cause when i go in viki app the thing all the way upp isn’t watch list anymore it’s viki picks ? Like WHERE are my dramas i have watched all these months from feb to july they just disappear? Some i even PAID to watch and now they are just gone like nothing?

  • For example i was lien in ep 14 in a river runs trough it now it says start att ep 1 like excuse you i have already watched ep 1 ??? Wtfff!!!!!!!

  • Like im starting to like not like viki anymore cause this is a big problem all my dramas from feb 19 just gone and the money i paid for it like!! Pls fix this

  • In my case watch list is working but continue watching is not. so I can't easily pick up where I left off

  • There was another thread about continue watching not updating.  Now the continue watching is missing, but my watchlist is still there but that has drama's that I have added to be watched and haven't started yet, so now I have to page through them to find the drama's I am currently watching.  This is becoming very frustrating,  if you are making changes on the site then you should notify us that there is going to be a change to the site that content is being changed.   I used both browsers Chrome and Firefox and neither of them are seeing the continue watching.

    We're sorry to hear that you're currently experiencing these issues with the Continue Watching feature.

    To make sure this is not an app problem, can you please try the following?

    1. Log out from your account
    2. Uninstall and reinstall the Viki app from your device.
    3. Turn your device off and on again.

    Are you still experiencing issues, can you please share with us the following information?

    1. What device or devices you're currently experiencing issues with?
    2. What is the Operating System of this device or computer?
    3. If the issues are happening on the Web, what browser version are you using?
    4. A screenshot of the issue or any error messages you might see.
