[On-hold] Learn Mode
Learn mode is not working for me on dramas that have 100% captions for both English and Korean. I have the option to turn learn mode on, however it does not work and I only see the English subtitles.

Please prioritize the fix for Learn Mode. It hasn't been working properly for quite a few months. This is the advertised feature that I liked and the reason I paid to support viki.
This is the same problem for me. I turn on the "Learn Mode" feature (for Korean movies and series) and only the English subtitles appear.
I've tried signing out/in, emptying cookies/cache, changing web browsers, changing the subtitle arrangements, etc... nothing works. This is not for just one title. "Learn Mode" hasn't worked on any of the series I've tried it on except for that first one I watched.
Friends of mine recommended Viki to me and I was excited by the selection of titles offered. One of the key reasons I decided to sign up for/pay/support viki was the impressive "Learn Mode" feature. I really enjoyed "Learn Mode" on the first series I watched that had the "Learn Mode" working with both the Korean and English subtitles. But none of the titles I have watched since that first one have had a functioning "Learn Mode" feature. It's quite disappointing.
When the series shows that "Learn Mode" can be activated I toggle it to "on", but no matter what I do I only get one subtitle language (English only, not English + Korean).
I hope Viki teams are able to fix "Learn Mode" for all the titles that "offer" it as an option.

I got the same problem on iOs (iPad).
If I switch on "learn mode", I got a popup like "not available at the moment".
The same series/episode on a laptop is working correctly with learning mode.

Is learn mode still dead? I can't get it to work. I was about to purchase a subscription and one of the biggest features isn't working.

I am wondering what the updated status is on this issue, I used to use this feature all the time and it is one of the best tools to learn Korean, I'm hoping that it can be prioritized because I know so many people, including myself love to use it!

I am also wondering if there have been any status updates to this? I love Viki and all of its content and I believe that Learn Mode sets it apart from other streaming apps. I, and I'm sure other users, would love to be able to utilize this feature again soon.

I got directed to this post that is now a year old. What is going on with Learn Mode?
Can learn mode at least be fixed to show both subtitles? Even if the pausing and definitions don't work it's better than nothing. Really unfortunate since double subtitles aren't available on other platforms like netflix either. And if chromecast could show double subtitles that would be even better, it's one of the main features I look forward to using on viki

Please prioritize fixing Learn Mode if possible! It’s one of the main reasons I pay for, support, and recommend Viki.
It worked the first time I saw a tv series, now after that, nothing. I was seriously considering subscribing to this since I havent wrote or spoke Japanese in several years and would pick up everything very fast if I had both subtitles on to understand context and nuisances but only if this worked at all but guess not...
