[Closed] Continue Watching also not appearing?

The 'Continue Watching' feature is gone from the front page? Is this a glitch only on my account?

I know Watch history is already gone and that's different. But the Continue watching page still exists but I cannot access Continue Watching from anywhere on the site? Can someone explain what happened or if there's a glitch?

It's almost impossible to use the site without Continue watching, I can't search for the show title every time. I can't believe I'm paying money for this site and it makes itself as hard as possible to use.

    Hi everyone,

    Our engineers have made more updates to assist with this 'Continue Watching' issue.

    If you are still facing the same problems, please try these first:

    • Log out, reinstall the Viki app, and log back into your account.
    • Check that your profile/settings page indicates the same account username across all your devices.
    • If you are watching on our website Viki.com, please check that you have Adblock disabled or whitelisted for Viki. Restart your browser before trying again.
    • If you are using the Viki Android app, check that you are updated to version 6.16.2.

    Do kindly note that Continue Watching/Watch Markers usually take within 15-30 mins before it is updated. Dramas/movies must have also been played for at least one minute.  

    If you are having other technical issues, please send details (screenshots included) to our Help Center at bit.ly/VikiHelp and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Alternatively, follow this post for further updates as this duplicate topic would be closed.

    We've checked your account and could see 'Continue Watching' listed. To make sure this is not a browser issue can you please try the following?

    1. Log out from your account
    2. Clear your browser cache and cookies How do I clear the cache and cookies on my web browser?
    3. Close your current window, then launch a new window
    4. Log in to your Viki account
    5. Try again from another browser (eg. Chrome/Edge/Firefox/Safari)

    Are you still experiencing these issues? If so, could you please share the following information:

    • Does this issue occur on your other browser types as well?
    • Have you checked that you are logged into your account?
    • Does this issue occur on your other apps and devices as well?

  • I saw that it came back too, after you replied to me. You can see in my previous screenshot that it was gone at first. However it was not a browser issue as I did not clear the cache. The problem also appeared on different computers. I'm guessing you fixed whatever bug it was then, thanks for doing that.

    Looks like it happens occasionally as someone else said they had the same problem, but that person's comment was deleted.

    One other point - when the continue watching feature disappeared from my main page, I bookmarked the continue watching page and started opening it manually. After using that page for a few days, the continue watching feature reappeared on my main page. Not sure if they are related.
