[Closed] Subtitles stopped appearing

Hi, my English subtitles stopped working on roku and app. I’ve tried to refresh but it either has no subtitles or locks on one subtitle while the drama plays on. This happens every few weeks for me- usually I just go to a different streaming service but now it’s during a pivotal scene and it’s killing me!! Anyone know a better way to fix it then time (restarted, exited out, tried a different drama but subs weren’t working on that either, logged out of roku channel and did email and repeat.

  • Hi both,

I'm sorry that the video you want to watch hasn't been subtitled yet.

We don't actually translate or subtitle content ourselves; instead, our passionate volunteer community (people like you!) subtitle content on Viki. You can learn more about our volunteer community here.

When subtitles for a video don’t appear or are incomplete, the community has not finished with the subtitling yet. But don't worry, they'll get to it very soon!

You can check a video if it has been completely subtitled by referring to the subtitle completion percentage at the bottom of the video thumbnail.

If you notice that the subtitle completion percentage is 100% but you're still seeing missing subtitles, do reply with the exact timestamp (eg. "Empress Ki" Ep 3 at 35:05) and the device you are watching on. We will assist further after.

    Best,
    Michelle

  • Hi mcalisteraaron12_543,

As "The Song of Glory" is an On-Air title, please allow more time for the volunteers to complete the subtitles.

You can check a video if it has been completely subtitled by referring to the subtitle completion percentage at the bottom of the video thumbnail.

    We appreciate your patience!

    Thank you,
    Michelle
