[Solved] I bought the subscription for the pass, through Apple’s app. But now I cannot watch the shows because it is says that I need to buy the subscription. Please advise

  • I am having the same problem.  I upgraded to viki plus because the show i wanted to watch said it was only available with that level subscription.  I still can't watch it because it says i need to upgrade my subscription, which I have already done.

    I tried logging out and back in again to refresh, thinking it needed to be done so my browser would be updated but it still isn't working.

    Can someone please help.

    The reason why you might not be seeing benefits from your subscription is because your iTunes subscription is not linked to your Viki account yet.

    To fix this, please take the following steps:

    1. Make sure you are logged in with the Apple ID you used to subscribe in your iOS device's Settings.
    2. Log in to your Viki account on the Viki app.
    3. At the menu at the bottom, tap on ME
    4. Tap on the Settings icon at the top right corner
    5. Scroll down to the Viki Pass section and tap on Restore Purchase

    If you do not see a Restore Purchase option, please take the following steps:

    1. At the menu at the bottom, tap on Home
    2. Tap on 'Get Viki Pass'
    3. Scroll down and tap 'Restore Purchase Now'

    I looked up your details. and it appears that you're getting Viki Pass benefits whenever you are logged in with your email address.

    I've done a reset of your account. Please try logging in again.
