[Solved] Subtitles disappearing

I have a Roku TV & Viki/Rakuten is one of my streaming channels. I have been watching 'The Jewel in the Crown' (Dong Yi). 3/4 of the way through episode 39 the subtitles stopped, they came back for the last two minutes or so. I thought no big deal (although I missed some important stuff between the deposed queen & the new cop who is investigating the killing of the head of the welfare office). So I started to watch episode 40, but there still aren't any subtitles. I haven't changed any settings on my TV so I'm confused as to what is wrong? I do not speak Korean, so the subtitles are IMPORTANT!

Please can someone help?

  • Joshua,

I had to 'REACTIVATE' the channel on my TV. But it just seems weird that the subtitles would stop in the middle of an episode (39) & then not be in the next (40). The subtitles came back after the reactivation, but why should I have had to do that? Thanks for responding though.

  • Hey there bratface

Thanks for letting me know! Sometimes apps behave weirdly due to glitches and hence reactivating the app helps to solve some issues.

I'm glad it's working for you now :)

    Cheers,
    Joshua
