Viki already understands subtitles are important. That is the point of Viki, it is about providing subs in different languages for viewers from all over the world.

If you did not know episodes do not come fully subbed when the episode is put. Subbing begins after the episode is put. Subs are done by volunteers and subbing takes time and a lot of hard work.

If you see no subs that just means that the subs have not been completed yet.

Here is what Viki says in the Viki Pass page.

"Viki’s subtitles are contributed by our passionate community of volunteers, who create high quality subtitles in multiple languages. When subtitles for a video don’t appear or are incomplete, it usually means that the community has not finished subtitling yet.

To check the subtitle completion percentage for a particular episode, you can visit the video you want to watch, then select your preferred subtitle language on the video player. The rate of subtitle completion may vary, depending on the nature of the content and availability of volunteers."

Also it is Holidays and Christmas time, so a lot of the volunteers might be  spending time with their families and therefore they might be a delay in subs. So please be patient and understanding to the subtitle teams because they work hard to provide subs.

I want to say that I appreciate all the hard work and time the individual translators do in translating the dialog where I can enjoy these dramas. I almost get all of my entertainment from this site and have quit watching television programs here in America. Thanks, Viki for the laughter, the tears, and the feelings of love that I get from these endearing programs.
