[Solved] Viki app will not load on android tv box
I have been using an android tv box, the Leelbox, for a year. I was watching the app one minute and the next thing I know it goes down and has not worked since. It has been almost 2 months now. I paid for a year Viki Plus subscription and have bn unable to use it for way to long. I waited thinking it just needed an update. I have since sent multiple requests for help that have went unanswered. I have reset the internet connection, cleared the cache, the data, the cookies, deleted and reinstalled the app and have even went so far as to do a factory reset of the android box itself. I am using a Leelbox, operating system 6.0.1. When I open the app nothing comes up. It gives the login in screen but none of the tv shows load. When I enter my login info Rakuten it says that I need to check the internet connection or try again later. When I try with Google Plus or Facebook it just says something is wrong try again later. When I try with email it says there was an error loading. I am at wits end here. I would really appreciate some help. I have update Google Play Services as well.....

Sorry about the delay in response! As we are a small team dealing with a large volume of tickets, we sometimes miss tickets.
We don't support Leelbox as it uses the Android mobile OS instead of the Android TV OS. Since the Viki app you download on the box is made for mobile instead of TV, we are not able to ensure that the mobile app works on your TV.
However, you can definitely still try some common troubleshooting steps like updating your OS and deleting and reinstalling the Viki app to see if it helps fixes the problem. I've sent these troubleshooting steps to you in detail via email.
Alternatively, you can also check out our other Connected TV options here. What I'd suggest is for you to get the Google Chromecast since it's a very affordable casting device, that's easy to use and works great with most TVs.
