[Solved] New Viki update on Roku fails to load video!

The VIKI app was updated last night.  However, this update fails to load any video or content.  It just goes back to the main roku page.  I delete the app a couple times and added it back but the app still fails to load any video.

    Hey guys,

    Sorry for the issues you were experiencing with the Roku app!

    We've just released a fix for the issue.

    To fix it, please take the following steps:

    1. Go to your Roku Settings > System System Update
    2. Click Check Now
    3. This will update your Viki Roku app to the latest version we just released that contains the fix to the issue

    Also, as there's multiple threads open for this issue, I've closed this thread. If you continue to experience issues, please update on the Viki on Roku not working thread.

  • yes leave it to Viki to update the app and screw it up again.  This also happened with Drama Fever last year when they updated their app.  It took them some time to fix it. Viki updated their app last summer - it screwed up the load on Roku, then they messed around a couple months ago, it screwed it up then, now it's screwed up again. .For what we are PAYING for their channel, completely unacceptable to keep messing around with members' service.  VIKI - GET BETTER COMPUTER TECHS TO DESIGN YOUR APPS AND CHECK THAT THEY ACTUALLY WORK BEFORE YOU LOAD THEM FOR YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS PLEASE.
