[Solved] Viki Pass not working on Roku

I purchased an annual membership for a Viki Pass standard. However, my Roku seems to not be crediting that. I want to watch an episode and it told me that it’s only available for vikipass members (which I am).

This is very upsetting. I just reconsidered your services again and now I’m getting this error?

  • I'm having trouble with Roku app playing certain programs but it's not giving me an error message. Just crashing back to the info page for that drama.

  • I am getting the "This episode is only available to Viki Pass subscribers.  It will be available to everyone in 7 days.  Want instant access?  visit viki.com/roku-pass to subscribe."  The problem is I am already a subscriber!!!  I have reinstalled the app on my Roku tv and it says the same message.  I am currently trying to watch Just Between Lovers.  If I go to the app on my phone and start to watch the next episode it will show up on the Roku.  Not sure what the problem is but I am not happy about it.

  • I had the same issue as you can see. It seems that you actually have to go to the serie's page and click on the next episode rather than let it run on its own (as you watch). My theory is that there is another popular drama on the que that we don't have access for as a standard viki pass.

  • Edit: okay after going on site with my computer. I was able to figure why I couldn't see the show. It' on viki plus. Omg I wish roku error message would have said that u need viki pass PLUS instead you need viki pass. ><  ah just thinking of all that waste time ><!

    Same thing is happening to me. I can't access a title on roku. It say I need a viki pass but I already have one. I login out and relink my roku again and still can't see it. I went to see all episode. It didn' work. I tried to search it and it didn' work. I also uninstall the app and still doesn' work.
