[Closed] Subtitles for all Viki shows only appear when watching on iPhone, iPad & MacBook BUT no subtitles when watching shows on TV (casting with chromecast)

Subtitles appear only when viewing Viki shows on cell phone, iPad & MacBook BUT when casting/watching shows on TV, there are no subtitles. I have deleted Viki app and put it back on, logged off and logged back on, turned iPhone off & on but still experiencing same problem. Chromecast (3rd gen) is working good & connected to correct WiFi. I have submitted this problem and requested for support but keep getting the same auto generated response apologizing that my shows still have not been subtitled — which is not the problem I requested help with. Hope this can be resolved because I prefer to watch Viki shows on the TV. Thank you!

  • Having same issue - subtitles on iphone but when I try to cast, subtitles not showing up on TV. I do have subtitles on TV with YouTube and Netflix.
