Login Issues - Error message upon trying to login

If you are getting the error message "Something went wrong" on Viki.com while trying to login using your Rakuten ID login method, please try an alternative login method. Try logging in with your email address and password. If you forgot your password, please try resetting it here: https://www.viki.com/forgot-password 

If you are seeing the following error message below on your Viki app, you will need to download the latest version of the Viki app to fix this issue (at least iOS 22.6.0 or Android 22.7.0).

Password Issues - Can't login via Rakuten ID after changing password

1. If you are having issues logging in using your Rakuten ID, please try resetting your password by following the instructions here : I forgot my Rakuten ID password, how do I reset it?

2. If you are still unable to login even after having changed passwords, please try an alternative login method. Try logging in using your email address and password. If you forgot your password, please try resetting it here: https://www.viki.com/forgot-password

Account Linking Issues

The function to automatically link your email address with your Rakuten ID has been currently been disabled. If you try to login with your Rakuten ID AND if it is also linked to another login method, you will see an error message. 

If you continue to experience this issue and can't login, please try to login using your email address and password only. If you forgot your password, please try resetting it here: https://www.viki.com/forgot-password
