There will be scheduled downtimes on the following dates: 

  • March 11, 12.30 AM -  March 11, 2 AM (PDT)
  • March 18, 12.30 AM -  March 18, 2 AM (PDT)

Please refer to the following sections for the breakdown of affected services during each period:

We’re glad to say that our downtime has ended! Affected services should be available now.

During the period of March 11, 12.30 AM - March 11, 2 AM (PDT), the following account and billing services will not be available:

Account Management

    • Creating a new account
    • Logging into your account*
    • Updating your account notification and language settings
    • Submitting an account deletion request
    • Changing of Resetting your account password
    • Changing your email address
    • Resending your account verification email
    • Editing your profile page
    • Adding/Removing shows to your Watchlist
    • Following/Unfollowing Collections, Celebrities and Users 
    • Subscribing/Unsubscribing to a Channel (for notifications)**

*If you remain logged in before the downtime, you will still be able to access your account and watch shows.

**This feature will be unavailable from March 10, 1 AM - March 11, 2 AM (PDT)

Viki Pass Subscriptions & Rentals on Viki.com

    • Subscribing for a Viki Pass plan and/or renting a show
    • Redeeming subscription and/or rental coupons 
    • Canceling, Upgrading, and Downgrading existing subscriptions
    • Updating billing details

Subscriptions or rentals made via external billing stores (Apple, Google Play, Roku) on supported apps will not experience any service disruptions.

If you subscribed or rented a show before the downtime, you will still be able to access all the plan benefits on your devices.

During the period of March 18, 12.30 AM - March 18, 2 AM (PDT), the following billing services will not be available:

Viki Pass Subscriptions & Rentals

  • Subscribing for a Viki Pass plan and/or renting a show
  • Redeeming subscription and/or rental coupons 
  • Canceling, Upgrading, and Downgrading existing subscriptions
  • Restoring an existing subscription on your account
  • Updating billing details on Viki.com
  • Viewing up-to-date subscription details
  • Receiving emails from Viki about your subscription and/or rentals

Any subscription/rental changes made directly on external billing stores (Apple/Google/Roku Stores) will not take effect until the end of the downtime. 

If you subscribed or rented a show before the downtime, you will still be able to access all the plan benefits on your devices as long as you are logged in to Viki with the account that you used to subscribe/rent on.
