If you are banned across multiple sites
Error message: We are unable to post your comment because you have been blocked by Disqus.
If you are banned across multiple sites, it is likely that your username, email address, or IP address was globally banned by Disqus, usually as a result of being detected as a spam account. If you suspect that you have been wrongly banned, try the following:
- use a different email service (disposable email services used commonly by spammers will be blocked)
- use a different account (usernames used by spammers will be blocked)
- use Disqus from a different IP address (IPs used by spammers will be blocked)
If you are banned on Viki
Error message: We are unable to post your comment because you have been blocked by Viki.
This message indicates that your account has been banned on the Viki site by a site moderator. If you believe you have been wrongly banned from commenting, feel free to contact us with an appeal. We reserve the right to revert our decision if we find our Terms and Conditions or Community Guidelines have been violated.
