[Closed] Proxy or VPN error. 3rd party service correctly shows I do have them, error on Viki.com

I have followed the indications to resolve the issues of the VPN error and I could not resolve it. Went to the website of you 3rd party VPN checker service and I could run my IP through their system to show that the correctly notice there is no VPN running. (https://www.ipqualityscore.com/free-ip-lookup-proxy-vpn-test/lookup/)

Something on your code, Viki, is not working that ignores the validation of the 3rd party service. So what about reverting whatever change happened yesterday on whichever release done, and test it again before making it live?

I am paying a subscription for this service, and if I can not watch the service because of your technical faults you should compensate me back.

  • Hi Miguel,

    I have the same issue.

    I don't use VPN and have no idea what ISP is. I also run my system through VPN checker and it said I'm not using one I have sent all of that to Viki (with the screenshot of the proof) but I still can't use the service I have paid for.

    I have a standard Viki pass and I'm using MacPro with Mozilla.

    I don't know what to do anymore.

    I have Netflix for years and everything is fine with its service.
