Unable to add Watch Party Links on the Discussions Board

Members of the Viki Community have been hosting private Watch Parties for weeks now, and we always shared the link on the Discussions Board so everyone could join in. However, recently, the link is somehow invalid/broken every time someone tries to post it in Discussions.

It's inconvenient and we have to find other sites to copy the link to. Please help.

    I host a lot of the watch parties. The link used to pull up and pause on a window where you could "copy" the link to share.  Now it does not do that.  It flips into congrats you started a party and then it shows link buttons to share.  When we do that - it does not pull you into the watch party.  We are having to share via other modes to be able to get together as said above.  It has been going on for a week or so now.

    The broken watch party link on the discussion board is a real hassle to use now!  When we paste the link on the Viki discussion board, it redirects us to the Viki home page.  However, when we post that same watch party link on Discord, it brings us to the actual watch party we've set up.

    It makes it very difficult for us to get our friends on the Viki site to join our watch parties.  We have to jump through hoops to give people the join link.

    PLEASE FIX that redirect that you guys put in!

    SPECS:

    I have Windows 10 Home,  version 10.0.19043 Build 19043  x64

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2208 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)

    32GB Ram

    and use the latest version of Chrome.

    Chrome is up to date
    Version 94.0.4606.81 (Official Build) (64-bit)
     
    Samples of shows where the watch party is shared on the Viki discussion board go to Viki's home page instead of the watch party.

    I click the popcorn bucket name it and click Create Watch party:
    I get the Congrats window:
     
    No URL text link is visible.  So I click the chain Link icon:
     
    I get: "copied to clipboard"
    The URL at the top of this window is: https://www.viki.com/user-party/JZaSfDmr
     
    So...   I go to Viki's Discussion board and create a NEW topic made just for this problem.
     
    When I post the link on the Viki Discussion Board it takes me to Viki's home page.  viki.com
     
    So...  I went to our Drama Lovers group on Discord and created a link there pointing to the Viki Watch Party using the SAME copied link as all the others:  https://www.viki.com/user-party/JZaSfDmr
     
    When I click that link on Discord. It takes me to where it is supposed to go - to the Watch Party!

    THIS IS RESOLVED:  lutra clued us.  We now have to use the Chain hyper Link Icon to post the watch Party links.  We did not need to do that previously.
