[Closed] Everything in my Continue Watching has disappeared from Viki on Roku - **POOF**

Everything in my Continue Watching has disappeared from Viki on Roku - **POOF**  My Watch List is fine, everything else is fine.  Is this a recurring problem that you are already aware of?

    Hi everyone,

    Our engineers have made more updates to assist with this 'Continue Watching' issue.

    If you are still facing the same problems, please try these first:

    • Log out, reinstall the Viki app, and log back into your account.
    • Check that your profile/settings page indicates the same account username across all your devices.
    • If you are watching on our website Viki.com, please check that you have Adblock disabled or whitelisted for Viki. Restart your browser before trying again.
    • If you are using the Viki Android app, check that you are updated to version 6.16.2.

    Do kindly note that Continue Watching/Watch Markers usually take within 15-30 mins before it is updated. Dramas/movies must have also been played for at least one minute.  

    If you are having other technical issues, please send details (screenshots included) to our Help Center at bit.ly/VikiHelp and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Alternatively, follow this post for further updates as this duplicate topic would be closed.

  • Everything in my Continue Watching has disappeared from Viki on Roku.   My Watch List is fine, everything else is fine.  Is this a recurring problem that you are already aware of?What is going on?  I want my Continue Watching list back!!

  • This happened to me as well I was just watching one of my shows yesterday, went to check today and everything was gone.

  • My 'continue watching' section has also disappeared even on the website. I do not have Roku.

  • Let’s hope someone at Viki sees this!  I was watching so many things and really don’t want to have to track what I have started watching with paper and pen.  😩

  • My continue watching has also disappeared. I signed out, cleared my cache, signed back in and nothing.

  • I also tried to watch it on my phone, and its not showing up on my phone either.

  • Same here. On my Roku, on my app, on my phone, on my website. Continue Watching is gone, it’s completely empty. I tried deleting my app and reinstalling it, still the same. This is very upsetting. I paid for Viki Plus.

    To make sure this is not an app problem, can you please try the following?

    1. Log out from your account
    2. Uninstall and reinstall the Viki app from your device.
    3. Turn your device off and on again.

    Are you still experiencing issues, can you please share with us the following information?

    1. What device or devices you're currently experiencing issues with?
    2. What is the Operating System of this device or computer?
    3. If the issues are happening on the Web, what browser version are you using?

  • This started happening to me on my Android after the new update as well. Logging out and reinstalling did nothing to fix.

    no error message.

    i saw the header saying to disable the adblocker.  that's total b.s. 

    i pay for service, if i have to see ads, i'll unsubscribe with a quickness.  fix it the right way, and don't use a band aid

  • There are multiple threads now going about this,so I am going to add it here as well as the other one.   The Continue watching has been a problem for months, and you marked it resolved it was not resolved!  Now it is gone completely.  Is this your way of resolving it?  It worked for many years and first it wasn't updating now gone.  Please fix!

  • Mine reappeared on the website but is still missing from the app on both my tablet and phone. I have tried all the steps of logging out/uninstalling/reinstalling/turning device off/on without resolution to the problem. No screenshot, but on my homepage, the entire 'continue watching' row is completely missing - it's just not there at all. If I go to the 'continue watching' section within the "Me" section, it says "Whoops :(  Sorry, something is wrong. Please try again later."

    1. Devices I'm using and their OS:

        Samsung Galaxy Tab A with Android version 11

        Google Pixel with Android version 10

  • mine is working on the app on my phone(android) but not on the website, i noticed its been gone for at least a week now thought it was just me having this issue, update right after i wrote this i logged off and back on and POOF it was back so maybe try doing that..
