Upgrading my account, wrong bill date?

Hei

The last 3 year i have had a annual acount paid every 7 april. This has been a standard account, now i upgraded it to a plus account and change it to month payment. It says " You have chosen to change plan to Viki Pass Plus (Monthly). This will take effect on Apr 7, 2021 7:28 PM".  If i still gone for the annual i had to pay today. Should it be the other way around. That when i upgrade i should pay today on both annual and month sub?

    Thank you for writing to us and your interest in upgrading your Viki Pass plan.

    We looked up your account and see that you are currently subscribed to an annual Viki Pass Standard subscription and that you're trying to change to the monthly Viki Pass Plus plan.

    As this is a lower-priced plan, the change will only take effect at the end of your current billing period Apr 7, 2021

    To upgrade your subscription with immediate effect, please select the annual Viki Pass Plus option. The upgrade will occur immediately.

    Also, when you upgrade your subscription, your upgrade will be prorated. For more information on how proration works, please refer to this FAQ.

    I cant find Viki Pass Plus plan anymore when i click on change plan. Was this a timelimit plan?

  • Hello,

    Viki Pass Plus is only available in the Americas region so if you are accessing Viki elsewhere, that plan option will not be available. 

    You might have seen it when you were travelling in the Americas region or using a VPN previously.
