[Closed] English Subtitles NOT Working on All Shows

I was trying to watch a new series and none of the English subtitles work. So I checked on other series that I have watched. They dont work either. Are all the subtitles gone??? This was the only app left to watch Asian Dramas. I would hate to delete it. I just want to be able to watch my shows and enjoy them in peace.

  • English subtitles are not working even when they show that they should be working. I will cancel subscription. This is way too frustrating. Tbere are many other plans that can figure out how to give subtitles.

    We were experiencing some issues earlier today, which have since been fixed by our engineers. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that might have been caused.

    1. If you were logged out of your account and could not log back in, please try logging in once again. Refer to this if you need help logging in.

    2. To continue accessing your favourite videos, watched shows, and Viki Pass benefits, kindly log out and back into your Viki account.

    3. If you do not see subtitles, please do check that your subtitle display is turned on. For more information on how to do so, please click here. If you are unable to turn off your subtitles, please ensure that Learn Mode is turned off. 

    Otherwise, if you notice that the subtitle completion percentage is 100% but you're still seeing missing subtitles, do let us know the exact episode and timestamp (eg. "Her Private Life" Ep 3 at 35:05) and we'll look into it.

  • I want to watch some Korean and Chinese dramas and automatic they show with ES subtitles. When I tried to change to EN it didn't give me the option to change it. How can I do it?
