not receiving notifications when episodes are uploaded

its really annoying that i have all of my settings set to make sure i have notifications to go off, but they never do. i have the viki settings set to send me notifications when episodes have subs and in my iphone settings the notifications are also on for viki. please fix this issue in future updates
