[Solved] No ads for Disqus comment section
Disqus is now introducing ads to the comment section. I think this is unfair to Viki subscribers who paid so they don't have to put up with ads. These ads waste bandwidth and data. The ads make the site look unprofessional.

Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. We have been on a no-ads plan with Disqus for many years, but a recent change on Disqus service turned on ads for Viki without our knowledge. We're currently looking into this and awaiting Disqus reply to take action and remove ads from our site.
I sincerely apologize for the questionable content of these ads, but right now we're not able to even edit what gets served to our users. We expect this to be solved in a few days.

I agree. I'm really upset right now. I'm sending a complaint to Viki as well.
They make the site look like an illegal site that you get redirected to by phishing scams.
I would suggest using an Adblocker in the meantime. I am using one (AdBlocker Ultimate is the best one in my opinion) and those ads aren't showing up for me.
