[Solved] Viki on Roku not working

I just added Viki channel to Roku, but when I click on the app, the blue circle just keeps spinning, and never actually goes into the app.

    Hi all,

    The crashing issue on the Viki Roku Channel should be resolved now. If you're still having issues, do reinstall the channel/app before trying again.

  • My Viki on roku is doing the exact same thing, the circle keeps spinning but the app doesn’t open, I am in the US and I don’t think it’s a network problem because other apps are opening just fine. 
    I also tried opening it with fire stick same issue so must be a technical issue with the app cos it was working just fine yesterday.

  • I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but same issue, it’s not letting me get to the sign in page either

  • Same thing here. Deleted and reinstalled the app. Goes to the viki loading screen for about a second before sending me back to the roku home. Definitely a Viki issue.

  • I am experiencing the same issue. Viki will show loading then kick me out in less than 10 seconds. I do not even have enough time to go to settings. I have restarted my roku and remove and readd viki up and still having the same issue.

  • I am experiencing the very same issue on both of my Roku TVs as well as my 2 Vizio TVs with Roku devices.  Viki circle spins and takes me back to the Roku Home Screen.  Please remedy, this is a paid subscription and I’ve tried what you have recommended to another patron and it is still malfunctioning.

  • So now the app is working but it keeps replaying itself, one scene has repeated like 5 times now , seems like the technical people are probably still fixing this but it’s getting annoying cos it keeps replaying the scenes by itself

  • I can’t even pause the episode cos it buffers and continues playing the same scene

  • Anyone having the repeat playback issues too? I have watched the same scene almost 50 times now even when I fast forward it replays the scene over and over and when I pause it buffers by itself and replays the scene again
