Viki on PS3 & Roku

I am over joyed that this is finally available for android, but I think it would be super awesome as well if the app could reach PS3 devices and maybe even the Roku Player, I know that asking the app to be on roku might be a bit much, but I would definitely love to see it for the PS3 that way I can watch viki on the tv instead of on the pc. I think it is a great advantage for everyone  to have access to this app from as many devices as possible especially these which are so often used for watching video streams.

Thank You! :]

Thanks Roxie, My boyfriend and I just got a Roku player less than a month ago because even though he has a PS3

the Roku doesn't make much fuzz, uses less power and doesn't turn our room into an oven when turned on for a long time.

I really like that I can watch most of the things I usually do on the pc on the tv now, though Viki I still have to watch on the PC

and DramaFever has an app on roku but only give you the first episode of each drama for free unlike their website.

Well, I am hoping viki comes through with it's app on more devices, I am sure looking forward to it. :] ♥

I would also love it if it was on roku that way I wouldn't have to sit at the computer to watch all the great show and my daughter and I could enjoy them together more!

I would love it on the PS3.  I was actually looking to see if I could watch Viki on my PS3.  It seems like I can't for now. :/

I am still rooting and hoping we can get a roku app, Viki is an essential app to have for me. -^_^- I only get to use it when I get to keep the tablet since my bf and I sort of take turns using it (Nexus 7) which is great but like right now I am wanting to be in bed instead of sitting on this uncomfortable chair and I can't because I don't have the tablet tonight and there is no Roku app. =_=" *Sigh* Does life hate me? LOL

Viki Mobile please grant us our wish! -^_^- We know you are the Viki App Genie... ♥

Still waiting for my Roku to arrive, but while waiting for an app maybe you could use the "embed" button and post viki episodes on your facebook page, the use the roku facebook app and view the video from there?  forgive me i don't have a roku yet so this may be wrong , but it worked when my boxee box stopped loading vids on the viki site.  try it !  sure its clunky but if you know what you wanna watch it can make it possible.

I tried that through Plex which is a channel for the Roku and it was great

except the subtitles didn't show up which was a bust. hehe... -^_^'-

Awesome! Which Roku device did you get? :] We have the Roku 2 XS.

I can't wait for Viki to have a Roku Channel (App), it would be extremely awesome. XD

http://plexapp.com/ (This should come in handy when your Roku arrives.)

yep, the 2 xs should be here on monday.  If I find a good work around with subs I will post it pronto!  seems like it should be doable without plex somehow, I hope.

Well I just saw that the episodes for the drama I have been watching are now available and

subbed on YouTube (from viki) so I need to check if I can see the subs from a YouTube vid on plex. :]

The other way is to download the episodes of a given series and get the sub files load them on to a

jump drive or external hard drive and plug that in to the Roku or TV.

ahhhhrrgh!  so complicated :) I'm dedicating my first roku hours to finding an easier way if its out there. hmmm wonder if there's a tumblr app for roku

well, that didn't work, but the roku works really well :)  if only i could actually embed videos in the news feed as opposed to just linking to them , then it might work.

I would like to add my vote for a Roku channel for VIKI.  I just found it yesterday, and I'm already hooked on a Korean romantic drama.  Can't wait to find more.

until a viki channel arrives, check out the other options on roku - Kdrama (free) Netflix, and dramafever!   I hope they are still planning on a viki channel for roku - they have one in England, why not here?

Thank You to all of you whom have joined in to support the topic. I am hoping the roku channel for viki is released soon, I can't wait until it becomes available. It's so much more comfortable to watch things on the tv instead of on the phone or tablet while I am at home. :]
